I filmed the above video documenting Vancouver Rise FC’s semi-finals victory with two cameras and edited the moment in real-time to share on social media. Timeliness is key for this format of content as fans as eager to view and interact with edited video of important game-related moments as soon as they occur. This timeliness led to increased engagement and viewership on the content I produced relative to average Northern Super League social posts.
I edited the above video using footage from myself, broadcast, and other league sources to promote the upcoming playoff match up between Vancouver Rise FC and Ottawa Rapid FC. I utilized various editing and visual effects techniques to create an engaging video that catches audience attention online.
